I am Ondřej Hromádko, citizen of the world, curious mind and a registered architect in NSW.

This website is a collection of my architectural works from the last 7 or 8 years. All featured projects are my designs - designed either for my employer Platform Architects or done as a freelance/colaboration with someone else. Despite these works being only a fraction of what I've worked at in the recent past, they represent (I hope) a vivid snapshot of my approach to architectural design. I have been involved intimately with each project featured on this website, usually since the very first sketches, through design development to completion in all capacities.

I specialize mostly in designing tailored-to-suit houses, for example West street house or Sunnyside crescent house; my work also includes designs for small & medium scale developers with examples being a duplex at Parkview road, residential flat buildings The Henry and Upper Clifford avenue. I've also worked on renovations, boarding houses, medium size residential flat buildings as well as interiors and have experience with designs within heritage context.

What's next for me? First and foremost, I enjoy working closely with people who mean well. I have a soft spot for the connection architects form with their clients and appreciate how clients grow during our colaboration. I excel at designing purposeful buildings, that reflect on needs of their future occupants; I am passionate about exploring topics of contextual design, affordability and appropriateness, ecology of place and incline heavily towards a healthy way of living.
